Did you know?
• Diapers can cost a family $100 or more a month.
• For low earnings workers, the cost of diapers can be 12-15% of their take home pay.
• Food Stamps, Women, Infants and Children (WIC), and Medicaid cannot be used for diapers.
• Even subsidized day care usually require families to provide diapers for their own child and they don’t allow cloth diapers.
Join us this coming Saturday for a Diaper Shower. At both Bosom Buddies stores there will be games, food, prizes and samples. Any diaper (or wipes) donation earns an entry into a drawing for a $25 Bosom Buddies gift certificate. (The greatest need is in sizes 4, 5, & 6).
Donations at this shower (plus any other donations until March 31) join with St. Thomas More School’s effort to stuff their school bus with diapers. The beneficiary is Catholic Charities of Denver who minister to hundreds of women in all varieties of stress and crisis.
You can help — hey, let’s have a little fun at the same time! Bring a box of diapers and you will go home knowing you helped someone out.
